Snek.fun Community Code of Conduct
- Introduction
This Community Code of Conduct ("Code") establishes the terms and conditions governing access to and use of the Snek.fun interface ("the Platform"). The Platform operates solely as a non-custodial and neutral interface, providing users with access to certain functionalities without maintaining custody, control, or direct facilitation of transactions.
By accessing or using the Platform, users expressly acknowledge and agree to comply with this Code, which is designed to ensure legal compliance, user safety, and market integrity. Any violation of this Code may result in restricted access, account termination, or further enforcement actions, including legal consequences where applicable.
- Prohibited Content and Conduct
- 2.1 Strict Prohibition of Harmful Content
Users are strictly prohibited from using the Platform to engage in, facilitate, or promote:
- Hate speech, doxxing, racism, antisemitism, violence, harassment, bullying, or threats of harm;
- Non-consensual sexual material, nudity of any kind, or content involving any form of exploitation or abuse;
- Content that may violate applicable laws or regulations governing online platforms.
- 2.2 Zero Tolerance for Illegal Activities
Users may not engage in any conduct that violates applicable laws or regulations when accessing the Platform. This includes, but is not limited to:
- The dissemination or promotion of unlawful conduct, including threats of violence, criminal activity, or any form of exploitation;
- Attempting to use the Platform for any illicit financial activities, including fraud, money laundering, or transactions involving sanctioned entities or jurisdictions;
- Engaging in, facilitating, or promoting the distribution of illegal digital assets or content.
- 2.3 Protection of Minors
- The Platform is not intended for, nor accessible to, individuals under the legal age of majority in their respective jurisdictions, with a minimum age requirement of 18.
- Users must self-attest to meeting the age requirement as a condition of access.
- Any attempt to bypass age restrictions, misrepresent identity, or enable access to minors will result in immediate account suspension and potential legal action.
- 2.4 Intellectual Property Rights
Users must not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of third parties when using the Platform. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of trademarks, logos, names, or likenesses;
- Listing or promoting digital assets that infringe upon copyright, trademarks, or other legally protected rights.
- Market Integrity
- 3.1 Transparency and Disclosure
- The Platform is non-custodial and does not provide investment, financial, or trading advice. Users must acknowledge and assume all risks associated with digital asset transactions, as outlined in the Terms of Service.
- Users expressly understand that digital assets are highly volatile and may result in financial losses.
- 3.2 Prohibition of Market Manipulation
Users must not use the Platform to engage in any form of deceptive or manipulative market activity, including but not limited to:
- Price manipulation, wash trading, front-running, or "rug pull" schemes;
- Coordinated efforts to artificially inflate or distort the value of digital assets;
- Fraudulent or misleading activities intended to deceive other users.
Any user found engaging in such conduct will be permanently restricted from using the Platform, and such activity may be reported to relevant regulatory authorities.
- Community Governance and Enforcement
- 4.1 Community Reporting and Moderation
The Platform may provide a community-driven reporting mechanism for users to flag content or conduct that violates this Code. Reports will be reviewed in accordance with established moderation policies and this Code. The Platform reserves the right to remove access to features or services for users violating this Code.
- 4.2 Platform Responsibility, Enforcement, and Liability Disclaimer
- The Platform is a neutral, non-custodial technology provider that enables users to interact with decentralized protocols. It does not create, modify, endorse, or control user-generated content, including tokens, listings, or transactions.
- The Platform does not monitor or review content except as required by law or when a violation of these guidelines is reported. The presence of any content or transaction on the Platform does not constitute an endorsement of any user, asset, or project.
- The Platform reserves the right, but not the obligation, to take enforcement actions, including restricting access or removing content that violates these guidelines, our Terms of Service, or applicable laws.
- The Platform does not hold, manage, or control user funds, assets, or accounts. All transactions occur via third-party decentralized protocols, and the Platform assumes no liability for their execution.
- Users acknowledge that they engage with content at their own risk and that the Platform does not provide financial, legal, or investment advice.
- 4.3 Appeal Process
Enforcement actions may be appealed on a case-by-case basis at the Platform’s sole discretion. The appeal process is a voluntary courtesy and does not create an obligation to reinstate content or access.
- 4.4. Discretionary Loss Control
Where permitted by law, the Platform may, at its discretion, implement loss control measures. If a wallet shows excessive losses, the Platform may temporarily restrict activity as a precaution. This does not guarantee loss prevention, and users remain fully responsible for their financial decisions. The Platform assumes no liability for losses and does not provide financial, legal, or investment advice.
- Compliance and Acknowledgment
By accessing or using the Platform, users expressly acknowledge and agree to comply with this Code of Conduct. Violations may result in:
- Immediate suspension or termination of access to the Platform;
- Legal reporting and enforcement actions, where applicable;
- Restrictions on the ability to engage with the Platform or its associated services.
This Code is subject to applicable laws and regulations governing digital assets and online platforms. Users are solely responsible for ensuring their compliance with all relevant legal requirements in their respective jurisdictions.
